Magnetar Aero are the leaders of Drone Security Solutions in West Africa. We’re comprised of experts in security and training in Remote Pilot Aircrafts (RPAs) / Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles (UAVs) otherwise known as drones. Our pilots are the only Remote Pilots in Ghana that are commercially licensed and certified for commercial by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under Part 107 in the United States.

Drone Security & Countermeasures

We provide cutting-edge, drone countermeasure consultation and solutions for qualified aviation authorities and government security agencies for the protection of highly sensitive areas such as airports, military bases, prisons, supreme courts, national borders, VIP events, etc. We work hand-in-hand with our countermeasure partners to provide a complete system of products and services to aid your security team in the defense of threats made possible by drone technology.

We are partnered with the most technologically advanced counter drone (detection and disabling) manufacturers in the world. We can offer a wide range of drone detection, tracking and disabling solutions to meet your needs including the "DroneGun" which recently received a stamp of approval from NATO for military usage.

We provide safe and highly effective countermeasure solutions designed to eliminate drone threats with no damage to the drone or the surrounding property. Countermeasures have been developed for long range coverage (up to 3Km) in a wide range of environmental conditions. Our unparalleled Counter Drone Tactical Training separates us from the rest. We train and consult your security team so that they can effectively respond and neutralize a drone-related threat.

RPAS Training

Our qualified and licensed drone security instructors are available to deliver a variety of security and tactical training for the military, law enforcement and security personnel. We are knowledgeable in the tactical operations of drones. Our seminars and training include threat assessments, evasive and tactical drone pilot maneuvers, optimal use of detection equipment, drone swarm defences and much more. When applicable, Drone “Disabler” Gun drills are also included.

No countermeasure nor security operation is complete without drone forensics training to obtain maximum intelligence from a downed drone or the controller. We’ll show your technical team how to determine the drone’s operating system and where critical files and flight data are hidden to help piece together any drone-related crime scene or security breach.

RPAS Trackers

The chance of a dreaded flyaway RPAs is real. . . This unfortunate event is going to happen to many Drone Flyers sooner or later. Why take that kind of risk with your thousand dollar or more investment? Having your RPAS crash, flyaway or stolen is a terrible experience so make sure you are protected by using one of our Drone Trackers as a secondary tracking device.

For law enforcement and other surveillance teams, our Drone Trackers provide back-up route data and monitoring capabilities from anywhere in the world. Our Trackers are very affordable, lightweight, waterproof and can be easily affixed to the underbelly of your drone.

Surveys & Inspections

The days of climbing towers for inspections are over! Industries such as petrochemical, oil and gas, construction, communications and utilities must carry out regular inspections of their equipment to ensure it is in safe working order. Human inspections can only go so far as people are often limited when it comes to heights or confined spaces. An increasing number of companies are beginning to use Remote Pilot Aircrafts for inspection. We provide the equipment and training solutions to operational challenges often faced by human inspections.

Things such as corrosion identification, detection and analysis of hairline cracks, spillage and leak detection, dilapidation assessments and land surveys are much more easily carried out by RPAs than by hand. Observations can be made and data can be collected for assessment and any problems can be dealt with quickly and efficiently, causing minimal disruption to operations.

Agriculture

Farmers need to image their fields often and on schedule in order to manage fertilization, irrigation and apply herbicides and pesticides to affected areas quickly before the damage is done or the infestations spread. We can help identify weed growth on large farms and show where potential flooding could take place. Only UAVs can provide this data in a timely and cost effective manner.
